NAMIWalks 2021

Mental illness is a medical diagnosis, as important as any other physical illness. Please join us as we eliminate the stigma that prevents millions of Americans from seeking the help they need. Registration for the 18th Annual NAMIWalks is now open. 

Please support Team I BELIEVE as we walk in memory of Dominique, and for the more than 60 million Americans living with mental illness.

We have three walks this year in:

Detroit NAMIWalks is scheduled for August 28th at Belle Isle.

Marquette NAMIWalks is scheduled for TBD at Mattson Lower Harbor Park.

Grand Rapids NAMIWalks is scheduled for TBD at Davenport University.

Fundraising efforts for all NAMIWalks events continue for 60 days after the event.

We believe  STIGMA is the single largest barrier preventing individuals, family members and caregivers living with mental illness from seeking the help they need. Talking about it is the first step in eliminating stigma. The next is ensuring individuals and families living with mental illness have awareness and access to the support they need. The funds raised  allows NAMI Michigan affiliates to continue to provide advocacy, education and support in our communities, at no cost to the individuals and families LIVING with mental illness.
